Format

How pairing works for each format

In doubles, players are paired in the order listed. In mixed doubles, male and female players are paired using a rotation that keeps each team to one male and one female. If the numbers are uneven, extra players may not be assigned to a team.

Why we ask for M/F (mixed doubles)

Set each player's gender (M/F) so we can build balanced mixed teams—one male and one female per team.

Courts

Court count tips

How many pickleball courts can you use at your venue? We’ll spread matches across them when the schedule allows.

You’ve listed 4 players. At most 1 doubles match can run at the same time (four players per match). Enter that many courts if you have them so everyone who is scheduled to play in a round can be on court together.

If you enter fewer, only that many matches run at once—the remaining players have a bye that round—and the schedule uses more rounds to work through the same pairings.

If you enter more than 1, the extra courts won’t be used at the same time for this group size.

How court labels appear on the schedule

Label each court the way players will see it at your venue (for example 5, 6, North). Defaults like “Court 1” appear on the schedule until you change them.
